We are seeking a highly capable and versatile Learning Technologist to join our dynamic, high-performing Technology Innovations Learning team. Every day you’ll make a difference in the lives of others by serving as a critical bridge between instructional design, educational technology, and user support, enabling scalable, innovative learning experiences across the ASU Online ecosystem.
You will partner closely with instructional designers, faculty, project managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to design, implement, and support digital learning tools and experiences. While you may develop an area of focus, you must be able to contribute across the full spectrum of learning technology services provided by the team.
Essential Duties:
- Support the end-to-end lifecycle of educational technology solutions, including requirements-gathering, documentation, implementation, testing, training, troubleshooting, and iterative improvement.
- Provide expert consultation and training to faculty and staff on the use of instructional tools, platforms, and digital media in online and hybrid environments.
- Collaborate with learning designers to develop toolkits, templates, documentation, and workflows that enhance online course development and delivery.
- Assist with implementation and support of emerging instructional tools and third-party integrations (e.g., LTI tools such as Harmonize, InScribe, Yellowdig, VoiceThread).
- Troubleshoot learning platforms (e.g., Canvas) and related technologies, escalating issues to internal tech partners or vendors when necessary.
- Document technical solutions, processes, and knowledge base content tailored to non-technical users.
- Monitor, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies for digital learning enhancement.
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects that improve operational efficiency or student engagement outcomes using educational technologies.
- Support internal systems and tools (e.g., Airtable, Google Workspace, Coda) that facilitate learning experience design and project coordination.
- Collaborate with technology, UX, and data teams to assess effectiveness, accessibility, and impact of deployed tools.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
NOTE: This is not a fully remote position. Must be able to reliably commute to Scottsdale Arizona.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications:
- Evidence of a bachelor's degree or higher in Educational Technology or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of AI technologies and their applications in digital learning environments, including familiarity with large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and prompt engineering.
- Experience supporting or administering Learning Management Systems (Canvas preferred).
- Experience collaborating with university procurement or legal departments to support contract development, vendor reviews, or technology licensing agreements.
- Evidence of familiarity with technology risk assessment procedures and compliance renewal cycles in higher education or similarly regulated environments.
- Experience working with or integrating AI-driven learning tools or platforms (e.g., GPT-powered chatbots, adaptive learning systems, or auto-grading tools).
- Demonstrated knowledge of LTI standards and integration workflows.
- Experience working in an IT support help desk or instructional support setting.
- Demonstrated familiarity with Airtable, Notion, Zapier, and similar low/no-code platforms.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets and Google Docs automation or scripting.
- Experience in creating documentation, training, or support materials for a diverse user base.
- Experience authoring web content and/or editing HTML/CSS.
- Evidence of excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service orientation.
- Evidence of strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

We’re seeking a driven, persuasive Enrollment Coordinator Senior to develop and coordinate graduate and undergraduate student enrollment functions, including outreach campaigns, enrollment support, and the cultivation of collaborative relationships with academic departments and other stakeholders under the direction of Enrollment Center leadership. We are seeking a Senior AI Content Strategist, Enterprise and Innovation Products to join our strategic communications and content strategy team. Every day you’ll make a difference in the lives of others by leading content design and strategy through the full product lifecycle, from early ideation and requirements gathering through deployment, iteration and ongoing optimization. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that content is brand-aligned, meets technical requirements, is optimized for AI and supports students throughout their journey.
In addition, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping EdPlus’ AI content strategy. You’ll be responsible for building and testing AI-powered content tools, creating and refining prompt engineering frameworks, establishing governance processes for AI-generated content, and mentoring teams on the effective use of AI content tools. This position is both strategic and operational, balancing innovation with execution to ensure consistency, quality and impact.
Essential Duties:
- Shape and guide the content strategy for enterprise-level, UX-driven digital experiences, including applications, student services and innovation platforms.
- Drive the development and execution of content strategy for AI-powered products and tools, such as chatbots and personalized digital experiences.
- Partner with product, design, engineering and research to create products, design new features and implement content strategies that guide students across critical moments in their journey, ensuring digital experiences are clear, accessible and supportive at every stage.
- Create, test and refine new custom AI content tools and scalable frameworks that democratize content creation across teams.
- Develop and maintain prompt engineering frameworks that guide consistent, brand-aligned and high-quality AI outputs across products and tools.
- Serve as editorial lead for AI-generated content across multiple products, reviewing and refining outputs to ensure clarity, accuracy, tone, inclusivity and accessibility.
- Establish and oversee AI content governance policies, workflows and standards to ensure quality, accessibility, inclusivity and brand alignment.
- Build modular content systems and centralized libraries for high-use microcopy to build efficiency and consistency across products.
- Train and mentor teams on content best practices and the effective use of AI content tools, building role-specific adoption and scaling content expertise across EdPlus.
- Identify, evaluate and recommend emerging AI technologies, balancing innovation with scalability, governance and user experience.

- Supports digital learning asset design and optimizes course design workflows.
Oversees the end-to-end design and delivery of flexible, reusable online content. Coordinates with SMEs, designers, and media specialists while streamlining workflows to strengthen collaboration and efficiency.
- Builds technical expertise and embraces new challenges.
Leverages authoring tools, multimedia platforms, and presentation technologies to develop custom digital learning solutions. Leads curriculum development teams by setting goals, managing timelines, and aligning projects with program objectives in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- Performs other duties or projects as assigned or directed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or a related area.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills with SMEs and vendors; demonstrated ability to provide clear, precise guidance to non-technical users.
- Demonstrated proficiency in learning management systems (Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle) and troubleshooting technology issues.
- Demonstrated proactive, adaptable self-starter who thrives under deadlines and changing priorities.
- Evidence of being a detail-oriented team player skilled in managing projects, meeting deliverables, and producing high-quality work.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Universal Design principles and accessibility requirements.
- Experience with adaptive, active, and student-centered learning strategies, including design thinking and problem-based, project-based learning.
- Teaching experience in military, higher education, or continuing education settings.
- Some travel is required.

Salary & Benefits:
$70,000 - $90,000 per year, DOE
