The ASU Zai Xian (AZX) program is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to join our innovative team. This role is pivotal in enhancing student engagement, supporting marketing initiatives, and leveraging data insights to improve retention within our online education model for working professionals in China. The ideal candidate will lead engagement strategies, design retention initiatives, and host key events, such as graduation activities, while fostering a strong sense of community.
ASU Zai Xian (AZX) Program - In a collaborative partnership with Cintana Education, ASU is providing access for working professionals in China by meticulously developing master's degree programs in Mandarin Chinese, and facilitating their delivery via online platform.

Essential Duties:
- Design and implement comprehensive engagement initiatives that enrich the student experience throughout the entire journey, from admission to graduation, fostering a strong sense of global community and promoting cross-cultural understanding.
- Leverage data insights to identify engagement gaps, analyze retention trends, and develop targeted strategies to improve student satisfaction and retention rates across the program.
- Act as the primary host and leader for all graduation activities, ensuring the planning and execution of memorable events that celebrate student achievements and strengthen program pride.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance program visibility through creative campaigns, event promotion, and tailored content that resonates with the diverse AZX audience.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the student advisory board, providing timely and consistent support in Mandarin Chinese while addressing their unique needs and ensuring a seamless experience.
- Partner with the billing team to streamline processes and resolve inquiries efficiently, while also supporting success coaches in China by addressing daily questions and maintaining updated reference materials.
- Establish and maintain a robust student and alumni network by organizing peer-to-peer sessions, mentorship opportunities, and collaborative activities that encourage connections and lasting relationships.
- Actively participate in team meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with the China-based team to address emerging challenges and support program improvements.
- Assumes or coordinates other duties or projects as assigned or directed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications:
- Evidence of a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
- Native or High proficiency in written and spoken Chinese.
- Proven ability in planning, organizing, and executing events that foster community engagement and cultural exchange.
- Proven experience in thriving within fast-paced, ever-changing environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Ability to devise and implement engagement strategies that cater to the evolving needs of a diverse student body and align with the program's broader objectives.
- Superior problem-solving skills with a creative and efficient approach to resolving issues.
- Evidence of strong attention to detail. Skill in compiling data, maintaining records, and summarizing information into reports.
- Experience in Higher Education and Student Services.
- Experience working across time zones.
Working Environment:
EdPlus at ASU is located at SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center. The center houses a diverse business community that links technology, research, education, and entrepreneurship to position ASU and Greater Phoenix as global leaders in the knowledge economy.
Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting or standing. Daily use of desktop or laptop computer is required. Ability to clearly communicate in English to perform essential duties. Regular review of completed tasks.

We’re seeking a driven, people-oriented Enrollment Coach to support both graduate and undergraduate students. This includes assisting students through the admissions process and working collaboratively with other departments to best support learners. The Enrollment Coach is an empathetic communicator and problem solver who motivates others to achieve their educational goals. We have a continual need for people in this position; note that timing of communication and need will vary.
Essential Duties:
- Serve as a critical point of contact for prospective students through chats, emails, calls, or texts to answer initial questions and assist with enrollment through admissions and registration.
- Foster a culture of engagement with prospective students by learning about them, providing swift responses to inquiries, maintaining professional written and verbal communication, and providing support throughout the enrollment process.
- Contribute to prospective student success through building relationships, getting to know their “Why” and aligning them with programs to accomplish their goals.
- Work collaboratively with EdPlus Enrollment Coordinators to deliver an exceptional prospective student experience while assisting with completing their application with high urgency.
- Use resources and critical thinking skills to problem solve, quickly make decisions, and provide the best, most accurate information and direction to prospective students.
- Distribute recruitment materials to individually support students.
- Take a proactive approach through challenging the status quo by recommending new and innovative procedures with student success in mind.
- Cultivate relationships within the ASU community to ensure that recruitment program goals and objectives are accomplished.
- Assume or coordinate other duties or projects as assigned or directed.
Minimum Qualifications:

- Ability to navigate with change and pivot quickly to create a successful working atmosphere supporting others.
- Experience using Salesforce.
- A high degree of emotional intelligence and knowledge about the challenges faced by current and prospective students entering higher education (e.g., first generation, returning adults, financially constrained).
Salary Range: $42,000 - $60,200 per year; DOE
The target salary for this position is $52,000 per year.
